Ignition Credit – part of the STAR Asset Finance Group, has assisted a café in Chivenor, Barnstaple, North Devon with the purchase of a commercial coffee machine and grinder.

Point Break has been designed as a hub for thrill-seekers, with an exciting, extreme sports theme. Its three owners, Rob J, Rob and Jodie, are parachuting, skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering, surfing and sky-diving enthusiasts, who are determined to harness their love of adrenaline-filled sports within the atmosphere of the venue.

Along with sporty-themed décor and an array of sporting memorabilia and equipment, there are plans for the café to host regular events with inspirational speakers from the extreme sports and entrepreneurial business world.

Ignition’s services were recommended by The Devon Coffee Company when Point Break approached them for a high-quality coffee machine.

Rob Jones comments:

“At the café we’ll be treating our customers to a wide selection of drinks, snacks, cakes, paninis and toasties, but we know that one of the keys to our success will be in providing truly excellent coffee. Financing the Ascaso espresso machine and grinder through Ignition means that we can spread the cost of this purchase over time and reduce our initial capital outlay, which really helps with cash flow.”

Callum Thompson, Relationship Manager at Ignition comments:

“Point Break is so much more than just a café. Rob, Rob and Jodie have created an amazing venue dedicated to their sporting passions, which is ready to welcome a dedicated tribe of customers keen to share in the buzz. It’s been a real pleasure to help with this venture, and I can confirm, the coffee is outstanding!”
